Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Schools
Vocational Education and Training is industry-based learning that can be incorporated in both the VCE and VCE VM streams.
VET subjects can contribute to the VCE in the same way as any other VCE subject and can count towards a student’s overall scored results. The aims of VET are to increase the breadth of subject choice and cater to different styles of learning. Our students are invited to enrol in other VET programs of interest at schools in our local area.
Fairhills High School is an affiliated school with the Mullum VET cluster. Students can undertake a VET subject at TAFE as part of this arrangement. Students at Fairhills have access to a wide range of external VET subjects.
