The Science curriculum provides opportunities for students to develop an understanding of important scientific concepts and processes that will help them with their further education, future vocation and everyday life.
Science is compulsory in Years 7, 8 and 10 and is offered as elective subjects in Years 9 and 10. We cover a range of different fields so students are well informed when they come to choose their VCE subjects.
Practical work and assignments are part of all science courses.
Visits to KIOSC, Swinburne University, Gene Technology Access Centre (GTAC) and other destinations are also made to enhance student learning.
