Technology programs at Fairhills High School offer a well balanced education which involves creative thinking through investigating, designing, producing and analysing/evaluating products. Students develop problem solving skills, also an awareness and understanding of social and environmental issues. Learning is often through using a ‘hands on approach’ developing practical skills and using a variety of tools, equipment and materials in a safe and effective manner.
All courses within the curriculum are taught according to the requirements in the Victorian Essential Learning Standards and Curriculum Standards Framework and the Victorian Certificate of Education.
