The Instrumental Music Department has had a very successful beginning to 2022!
There are 2 varying programs established – a Year 7/8 program and a Year 9/12 program with over 100 students participating.
Year 7 and 8 program
All students have been timetabled through compass with a weekly instrumental music lesson as part of their core curriculum.
Instruments students have chosen from are:
Voice, Drums, Bass guitar, Strings, Guitar, Trumpet, Trombone, Flute, Clarinet and Saxophone.
The department has 6 specialist teachers visiting the school weekly to provide this curriculum to the students:

There is a $50 yearly charge to hire certain instruments from the school – flute, clarinet, saxophone, violin, trumpet, trombone.
Students from Year 9 – 12
Students have the opportunity to learn an instrument of their choice – see above list.
Lessons are $150 per year, with the option to hire an instrument for a $50 charge (see list above)
