School Council

Fairhills High School has an active and dynamic School Council that plays a vital role in the decision-making and overall running of the school, contributing to its success and alignment with the school vision.

The council is composed of parents/carers, students, community members, and school staff, ensuring diverse perspectives are considered in shaping the school’s direction and priorities. This collaborative approach strengthens the connection between the school and its community, empowering all stakeholders to work together to enhance student outcomes.

Meetings are usually held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday evenings at the school and are open to members of the school community, reflecting the council’s commitment to transparency, inclusion, and active participation in driving school improvement.

The School Council’s contributions, such as overseeing budgets, policy development, and strategic planning, are instrumental in fostering an environment where students can thrive as curious, creative, and confident learners.
